The exhibitions in the Ziegenbalg House are diverse and vivid. On the ground floor, you can explore the permanent exhibition to find out more on the history of the Danish-Halle Tranquebar Mission, its background, the educational structure and the establishment of the first systematical printing press in India. Take your own time and read the information boards in Tamil and English or ask our professional staff to guide you around.
Climbing upstairs, you move in time, leaving the history behind and turning towards contemporary understandings of intercultural dialogue. The Cabinet of German Curiosities is a project realised by the Indian artist Asma Menon, exhibiting her view on contemporary Germany.
The last room hosts a show by the world traveling artists Moritz Götze and Rüdiger Giebler on their Grand Tour. The changing exhibition will be on until spring 2021.
